The predominant opposition Nepali Congress has concluded that the Prime Minister and the President have repeatedly crushed the essence and spirit of the Constitution. And, after discussing with all events, has determined to go to all choices to cease this pattern.

The assembly of Congress office-bearers and former office-bearers on Friday concluded that the Prime Minister ought to resign if a vote of confidence isn’t taken in Parliament. The Congress is of the view that invoking the formation of a brand new authorities as per Article 76 (5) of the Constitution with out the Prime Minister’s resignation is in opposition to the spirit and letter of the Constitution.

The Congress has mentioned that it’s going to maintain discussions with all events to curb the tendency to trample the essence and spirit of the Constitution. After the assembly, Joint General Secretary, Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat mentioned, “We will come to a conclusion after discussing all options to stop this trend.”
